Call for Papers

SCOPE

New mobile media characteristics bring new interoperability and usability issues. The workshop tries to address all the technical aspects of implementing a comprehensive process for mobile content provisioning, optimization and monitoring of the delivered quality, with the scope of increasing subscribers’ experience.

PAPERS

Far from comprehensive, below is a list with topics of interest for the workshop:

  • B3G/4G service creation and QoS life cycle model
  • Innovative, adaptive and content/location aware mobile services and applications
  • Quality aware mobile applications and services in heterogeneous networks
  • End to end content delivery chain models in support of quality of experience (QoE) measurements and SLA management
  • Mobile agents for content quality measurements
  • Metrics and quality of experience models
  • Mobile content experience optimization
  • QoS support for multimedia services over wireless networks
  • Quality for streaming and broadcasting services: subjective and objective methods
  • Security and privacy of mobile content

Papers presenting original contributions will be considered. Articles, tutorial in nature, are also encouraged and should be written in a style comprehensible to a large audience. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Conference language is English. Submissions should be either full-length papers of up to 7 pages or short papers of up to 4 pages (including all figures and references) in single-spaced double-column format with 9 points font size in ACM conference proceedings format . Full-length papers should report on completed work and will be considered for oral presentations. Short papers should report on work in progress or discuss open problems, and will be considered for poster presentations. All paper submissions will be handled electronically. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit a PDF version of the paper. Please visit the Conference submission page for detailed submission requirements and procedures.

PUBLICATION

All submitted papers will go through a peer review process. Accepted papers will be published in the ACM International Conference Proceedings Series and will be made available in ACM Digital Library, as well as indexed by EI and ISI Index. Papers of particular merit will be selected for consideration of fast track publication in ACM/Springer Mobile Networks and Applications (approved) or Elsevier Computer Networks (pending approval).
